On the attic floor of an ancient building located in the historic center of Naples, it dominates the roofs and domes and overlooks Vesuvius to the east and the hill with Castel Sant'Elmo and the Certosa di San Martino to the west.
The recent renovation by the architect owners has made it an apartment full of charm and pervaded by a Mediterranean and eclectic soul.
On the suggestive terrace majolica tables are placed under a straw one; terracotta jars, masonry planters, small vases with zoomorphic shapes and anthropomorphic Sicilian ceramics welcome Mediterranean, aromatic essences, jasmine and ancient roses, while the murmur of the water of a small enchanting majolica fountain provides the background for moments of relaxation before and after a dive into the populous life below.
The four guest rooms, air, water, fire and earth, evoke the four elements, all so strongly present in the Neapolitan territory. On their walls, paintings, prints, photographic images are an excursus of the places in Naples and its surroundings consecrated to them: a journey in pursuit of the fire that smolders under Vesuvius, of the water that shimmers in the gulf, above and below the teeming earth of traffic, with our eyes rolling in a city that is also a symbol, atmosphere, idea.
